The schools may indicate on the certificates one of two ways. If they have an "Other" section this can be utilized to indicate the 8 hours behind the wheel or simply change the 6 to an 8 as well as the word "six" to "eight". All new certificates shall be corrected to the new 8 and the statute number remains the same. I hope this answers all your questions.
